Drape Dress
Pattern Description: Drape Dress from Simply Sewing Magazine Issue 69 (TNT)
Pattern Sizing: 10-24 I cut out a size 20 (I think)
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, I lengthened the dress this time.
Were the instructions easy to follow? This is definitely a tried and true pattern. I've made this dress a dozen times and will continue to test color blocking and patterns.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love how easy the dress comes together. It is such a quick sew and can be dressed up with heels or down with tennis shoes. I wear this dress to work all the time. The fabric also holds up with continuous washing.
Fabric Used: I used a Liverpool knit which is also my favorite!
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: This time I lengthened the dress so I would feel more comfortable wearing it to work. I've been wearing the other dresses with pants because they are a little short when I sit down.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Heck yes!
