Hobo Bag & Wallet

I been making bags since I learned how to sew. My first bag was a reversal tote bag I made in 8th or 9th grade. I made it in purple velvet with floral cotton lining. I wish I had pictures. However, since then, I’ve made several bags including the one featured here.

I made this easy Leather Hobo Bag by Sew Sweetness and I made a matching wallet (oilcloth wallet) from the National Sewing Circle by Aurora Sisneros. National Sewing Circle is a subscription based go-to online resource.

I used a Hot Pink faux leather from Walmart.com. For the lining of the bag, I used a chevron satin from Hancock’s Fabric. This is just the beginning of many more bags and wallets to come.

Enjoy the pictures! (Purple dress is Simplicity 8379 lengthened in ITY knit).
