Self-drafted Swing Dress

I drafted this dress from a shirt I bought several years ago. I’ve made this dress in different designs using the base pattern. I used this base pattern to make my vow renewal dress for 25 years. In this view, I’ve added a separating zipper in the front as well as puff sleeves from MimiG’s coat pattern, Simplicity 9136.

Fabric used: Navy scuba knit from Fabricmart Fabrics.

I used bias binding around the collar and front in place of facing.

Such a comfy chic look! Enjoy the pics.
