Bias Cut Skirt

Pattern Description: MoodSewciety Indigo Skirt (MDF192) Bias cut skirt [Free Pattern]
Pattern Sizing: Size 2-30. I cut a size 16 but I had to add about an inch to the sides so I could have probably cut an 18.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Very. This is a very simple make. Just two side seams, fold over the waist to make a casing, insert elastic, and hem. Voilá!
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love an easy pattern that comes together quickly.
Fabric Used: I am not sure what type of fabric this is. I bought it from Hancocks when they were going out of business. It's like a poly blend suiting fabric without stretch.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I shortened the length a little (about 4 inches).
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? This was my second make. I made it in a stretch satin before. I will definitely make again and yes I recommend this project for a quick and easy sew or to get your sewjo back.

I’ve styled this skirt with Simplicity 8656 top and the Costa Tote by Helen’s Closet Patterns.
