Boronia Bowler

Pattern Description: Boronia Bowler Bag with two handles and an optional shoulder strap.

Pattern Sizing: N/A

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes.

Were the instructions easy to follow? The instructions were quite easy to follow. There was an instructional/sew along video which was very helpful.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I've been looking for a bag pattern exactly like this. I love all the designs I've seen in this pattern and can't wait to make another one. I didn't like all the pattern pieces but it came together fairly quickly once I started sewing.

Fabric Used: I used dark denim for the bottom. I used a chambray denim for the top of the bag. I used faux leather for the straps. I used cotton for the inside lining.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: The only alteration I made was an extra seam in the pocket for a pen holder.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I plan to sew another one soon.

Conclusion: I ran into difficulty sewing the straps. My needle didn't want to go through the layers of faux leather (even though I tried a leather needle and a denim needle).
