Pattern Description: Misses'/Miss Petite Romper, Jumpsuit and Belt
Pattern Sizing: XS - XL. I cut a size L with a few alterations.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? A little. I made some slight changes. Read on.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes. I've made this before. It is also a "Learn to Sew" pattern from McCall's.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I like how easy this pattern is to sew. I also like how easy it is to alter.
Fabric Used: I used a Seattle Gray Rayon/Lycra Jersey Knit. It feels really good. This fabric was a little light weight or too thin for the jumpsuit.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I removed the zipper by stitching up the center front. I added a V in the back to match the front so I could get in and out of the jumpsuit. Then I added a neckband made out of the same fabric. It's a little wonky in the front because there's a curve trying to fit into a V. Next time I will create a seam in the front and back of the band placement to help the neckband ease into the V. (The back of the neckband fit well because of the seam in the middle).
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes! I want to make a bunch of these.
